From There to Here

Nothing like starting off a relaxing Memorial Day with a panic dream.

You know the dreams. You’re in school, maybe hanging out in your dorm room, and then you see a syllabus for a class. What’s this? Was I suppose to attend this class this semester? I don’t remember this at all! Public speaking? Did I take this? I didn’t drop it? When’s the test?

Oh, it’s right now. Or it was five minutes ago. An hour ago. Whatever.

So you start freaking out. I think it happens to me when I’m stressed in real life. I’ve got a bunch of stuff due for my Suffolk class, and I think it’s creeping over into my dreams now. I’m also traveling for work a lot lately before I go on vacation in July. Until then, maybe these are going to be hanging around with me. That’d be horrible.

Just a little laundry today and classwork. Good times. Jen invited me to her pool and I might have gone, but I’ve just got so much to get done. It’s ridiculous. Maybe I’ll be able to breathe this fresh air at some point, but for now, I’m chained to my computer to crank out at least ten more pages of work so I can go into this week not freaking out. Argh!
