I’m about to head to Fenway for the Sox game, but the weather might not cooperate.

Class was class, but now the real fun begins. I honestly don’t mind my classes at Suffolk. There’s some cool people in the class with me, the topics are interesting and helpful and the professors are pretty good. I’m just kind of concerned at what’s going to happen when I actually have to start paying Suffolk a lot of money for this myself when work doesn’t cover it. That could get messy between student loans and my bank account.

We’ve been in between rain and sun all day, and there’s a real possibility for a washout tonight. I’m just hoping they don’t reschedule it for Sunday when I have a DFP Alumni Association meeting. There’s a chance of the same thing happening on Saturday, as the weather is supposed to be horrible this weekend. We’ll see what happens, but I’m definitely nervous about it. Right now, Mike and I are still waiting this out. We’d normally be on our way to the game already, but I’m thinking a rain delay or rain out might be in order.

Aaaaaannnnddd, as I type that, the tarp is coming off the field.

I leave you with this, another volley in the Sox/Yanks rivalry.
Maybe it’s real, maybe not, but it’s funny as hell either way.

NEW YORK (WBZ) ― A crafty Red Sox fan working construction on the new Yankee Stadium has tried his best to sabotage future seasons for the team from New York. The die hard member of Red Sox Nation reportedly buried a Red Sox jersey under the visiting team’s clubhouse. At least that’s the story being told to the New York Post.

According to two construction workers who spilled the beans to the Post, the deceitful feat happened back in August, while concrete was being poured for the clubhouse floor. Now those workers fear they witnessed a curse being cast on their Yankees.

The Yankees’ take on the story? They’re calling it all a scam. In a statement released Friday the team said, “We noticed that the NY Post wrote a fun and interesting story about a t-shirt today - but it never happened. Yankee fans know that burying something in concrete in the basement is never a good thing. Memo to the Post: You’re 10 days late for April Fool’s Day.”

So who’s telling the truth? You be the judge.

Heading off to the game. We have crappy seats (in Conig’s Corner tonight), but hell, maybe pictures tomorrow anyway.
