From There to Here

After Texas lost to Memphis on Sunday, I can no longer finish first in my basketball pool.

But if UNC beats UCLA in the finals next weekend, I can finish second. And second place gets paid — I mean, um, if we were playing for money. Because gambling is — believe it or not — illegal.

Pops is still ahead of me, but he has UNC over Memphis. I’ve got UNC over UCLA. Basically, the UCLA/Memphis game determines which one of us holds bragging rights. I hope its me.
