Big Baby absolutely rocked the house last night. Not as much as he rocked in college, when he swore right into a CBS camera, but he had an awesome game.
Baby got his first NBA start for an injured Kendrick Perkins, and he contributed big time, hitting 10-for-10 from the free throw line and collecting 16 points and nine boards. They named him the player of the game.
The guys and I caught the game from our nosebleed seats in section 322, then went out for beers afterward with a girl I met on my birthday and some of her friends. All in all, a nice little Wednesday.
The snow was a total pain in the ass today, and the 15-minute walk home from Davis through the snow was hellish. Especially since I had to wear a suit today for work. But whatever.
School starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow instead of 9 a.m., which is nice, but our group is giving our presentation. Hopefully, that goes well, and I’ll move onto a decent weekend before I go on vacation at some point late next week.
