Three years and one day after we won the World Series, we did it again.
Two championships in four seasons.
For six games in a row, we went to the Baseball Tavern. We watched. We cheered. We got pissed. But we won. All of them. Since we started heading there down 3-2 in the ALCS, we won every single game.
I’m posting this while lying in bed in a beer-stained shirt from much reveling. It’s nearly 3 a.m., I need to be up in four hours to go to work, and in all honesty, nothing in this world could make me happier than knowing I go to bed a fan of the 2007 World Champion Boston Red Sox.
More tomorrow, but for now, we’ll bask in the moment.
