From There to Here

I’m on the couch, watching the Red Sox, wearing some sweatpants and just hoping we can bring this series back to Boston on Saturday night.

It’s 1-1 in the third. Beckett’s looked good. Sabathia’s looked good. Another run or two for either team will probably decide this thing. Let’s hope we’re the team that gets it.

I was going to blog last night, but didn’t get home from the Celtics game until late. They won, pulling off a 101-61 win against the Knicks and the Celts looked good. I was really impressed with the team, and I think they’re going to be pretty great this year. Even rookie Gabe Pruitt looked pretty good, but I’m more or less sure now that Glen Davis aka Big Baby is heading to the Developmental League. Oh well.

The guys and I enjoyed the game from our seats in the last row of Section 322. That’s basically where we’re sitting all season (or at least for the 12 games we’ve bought). I’ll probably try to get to more games too. I just love this team and with KG, the Truth, UCONN’s finest Ray Allen, Rondo and Perkins are going to be good. Very, very good.

Manny Ramirez just hit a 420 foot single. Dear God, we are in trouble. At least we’re winning 2-1… for now. What effing luck.
