Whatever’s happening in my world…

You can say what?

So it’s been a week since I’ve updated. Oh well.

Quick update for now:

1) My fantasy football team came back to win. Even with only three points from Brees. And an uninspiring, I-hope-he’s-not-injured-all-season performance from LJ. Don’t ask me how. Because I will tell you.

Romo: 35 fantasy points (4 TDs passing, 1 TD rushing, lots of yards)
Minnesota: 29 fantasy points (defense scored two TDs, had some picks and fumble recoveries against ATL)
Edgerrin James: 17 fantasy points (92 rushing yards, 20 receiving yards and a TD. He’s having the comback season I was hoping for so far.)
Rest of team: 32 points (and yes, the other eight guys were outscored by Romo, Fantasy Football’s week one points leader).

And with that, I’m 1-0. I’m playing Chris this week in a good matchup. Our league is ridiculous, for those who care.

2) Why can certain words go on the radio and certain words can’t?

I can listen to Nirvana’s “Rape Me” without a single bleep. But I can’t listen to “Rockstar” by Nickelback without bleeps. “The girls come easy and the (BLEEP-drugs-BLEEP) come cheap,” as well as “Everybody’s got a (BLEEP-drug-BLEEP) dealer on speed dial.” They don’t even bleep it though. They just dump out. So it’s “Everybody’s got a [no words for a second] dealer on speed dial.” Car dealer? Persian rug dealer? It’s more fun — but much more annoying — without the word.

3) David Ortiz is amazing.

4) Amy Schumer WAS amazing. She is, however, no longer on Last Comic Standing. Hence, your lack of Amy Schumer updates.

That’s it for now. I’m determined to take pictures of my room and apartment and stick them on here (since I’ve been talking about it for almost two weeks now). Maybe tonight?
